Grégoire’s Garden

The property extends over 4,200 m2 on a hillside. Below the house, and all around the pool, Grégoire creates and maintains the flowered areas, with a surprise here and there, a quiet animal or a peaceful figurine. Roses, poppies, irises and hydrangeas decorate the landscapes, depending on the season. Walking paths allow you to stroll between these areas, and armchairs allow for restful breaks. At the very edge of the garden, well-hidden past the swimming pool, allow yourself to discover a new space which combines play and sensation. This garden has earned us the “Gîte au Jardin” (Garden Cottage) distinction from Gîtes de France and the Rhône Flower Committee.

On July 11, 2016, a jury composed of the technical manager of Gîtes de France du Rhône, responsible for this distinction, and two people from Villes et Villages Fleuris du Rhône (Cities and Flowered Villages of the Rhône) surveyed our garden’s every nook and cranny, stopping at every rosebush, fruit tree, decor item, offering advice and compliments, to finally decide that our garden was worthy of the Gîte au Jardin label, the first of its kind in the Rhône. It’s a wonderful recognition of all the beautiful plants that grow there as well as their gardener!
